So, two or so years ago, I found myself retiring after 30 years of working retail due to disability-which is another way of saying I spent 30 years living paycheck to paycheck and barely making ends meet. After getting a small pension payout and 401k, still 5 years away from social security, I realized that I do NOT want to go back to living paycheck to paycheck. This started as a work from home job hunt and turned into, after months of trial and error, the realization that I was DONE with other people telling me when, how and where to work. I was DONE living paycheck to paycheck and I wanted control of my financial life. After much learning, pivoting and trial and error, this turned into Ella Digital Consulting.
